one of my favorite metal albums of all time.
My friend did this a few nights ago and I couldn’t be anymore happier with the result. It came out amazing.
Anyway, this piece of work is by Alex Pardee. At the bottom (cut off in the photo) I added roots, as a way to say you need to always try to find a way to stay grounded to get through anything and everything. To me, this image, is just the everyday person and all of the things going on in life at the time. My mind is always full and always racing, and with every one thought - it branches off into a million other ideas and thoughts. To me, the tree and all of its branches is a perfect idea of what it might be like inside our heads, thoughts and sub-thoughts just going and going in a million different directions and we need to find a way to keep ourselves grounded to get through it all and figure out the things that we need to do.
And as for the little hanging guy off to the side - to me it represents me in yesterday. We need to remember that the past is the past. Its over and done with. We only have today and right now.
I just don’t get it. He’s just a horse. <3
